Timothy Kelly, affectionately known as TK, Red or simply Kelly, passed away on December
14th, 2025 at the age of 70.
Tim was born on September 6th, 1955, and grew up in Peekskill, New York, where he spent
most of his days playing baseball and basketball. As life went on, golf became his favorite
sport—especially when it came with good friends, a competitive edge, and plenty of laughs.
Known for his quick wit and sense of humor, Tim could always be counted on for a joke or a
story at just the right moment.
A faithful Jets and Yankees fan, Tim stood by his teams no matter the season. He spent many
weekends camping with friends and family, creating memories that will be cherished forever.
Tim worked for the Metro-North Railroad as a General Foreman for nearly 40 years, a role he
took great pride in. His love of sports carried over into coaching, where he devoted many years
to the Grandstand Ladies Softball Team, and later to coaching his daughter Aly’s softball and
basketball teams—one of his greatest joys.
Tim leaves behind his beloved wife, Kitty, and his daughter, Aly; his brother Colin Kelly and his
wife Linda; and his sister Mary Kelly, along with many friends who were lucky enough to share
in his laughter and life.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Kelly and Charlotte Kelly, and his brother,
Tommy Kelly.
