Paul D. Walker

Paul D. Walker

May 29, 1946 – October 9, 2023
Paul D. Walker of Croton-on-Hudson, New York, a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran who served in the Vietnam war, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.

Paul was born on May 29, 1946 in Altoona, Pennsylvania to the late Paul and Julia (Orr) Walker, and retired from Metro North Railroad in 2006.

He is survived by his wife Wanda, five children (and their respective spouses), ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, and several nieces and nephews. He also had a brother who predeceased him.

Although Paul had many activities and interests combined, Paul loved and was so very proud of the accomplishments and achievements of his children (including their spouses) and grandchildren. He talked about them constantly and felt like the luckiest man in the world to have such great children (and spouses) and grandchildren that gave him so much pride and joy.

As per Paul’s wishes, there will be a very private service. In lieu of gifts and/or flowers, memorial contributions in Paul’s name can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) and/or Shriners Hospitals for Children (www.shrinerschildrens.org/en), and Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org)
